"We were driving from minnesota back home, had been on the road for about 5 hours, our car started acting weird just past des moines. We eventually had to get off the interstate and struggled to get to a auto repair shop. We showed up 5 minutes before closing, they ran the codes for the engine and stayed past closing on a holiday weekend to help us get home. Ended up being a super easy fix, the guy was so knowledgeable and kind. It's something I would have never thought of. Thanks to him we were able to make it home with just a short delay. We aren't from the area, but I would 10000% recommend. The shop was cleaner than most that I see, they are friendly and super helpful AND they have two super sweet cats!! I couldn't thank them enough for taking their time to help us."

"While traveling from Pennsylvania west, our check engine light came on, so we stopped in to have Scott evaluate the vehicle. His wife was extremely kind and understanding making time for Scott to discuss our options during an exceptionally busy day at his garage. Scott, Travis and Chris took great care to get us back on the road quickly as if we were family! I would highly recommend this garage for any vehicle needs."

"We are so grateful for Scott and Chris at 2nd Street Repair. They helped us turn something that had potential to be very stressful and a setback for our vacation into something effortless and relieving. From the moment we called them after pulling over on I-80 because our muffler broke they not only assisted us with getting set up for repair first thing the next morning, they helped us get into town (we were about 45 minutes away) and helped us with a hotel. It was nighttime and most places were closed at this point. Truly just amazing individuals who clearly take pride in the work they do and genuinely care about others whether friends, family, or complete strangers. The muffler repair was done professionally, quickly, and at an incredibly reasonable price. We truly felt like we were meant to breakdown in this area just to find this shop and have such an exceptional experience. We don’t live close to them at all but wish they were closer and are already joking about the next road trip we should make when we know we have some repairs that need to be done. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone and everyone in this area. Thank you Scott and Chris for being truly genuine, professional and knowledgeable. Scott even walked my husband back through the shop, showed him what he was doing and informed him throughout the whole process. A++++++++"

"Amazing experience with Second Street Towing and Repair! We were stranded on the side of the interstate in intense heat away from any businesses and Scott stopped what he was doing to come help us. He even accommodated our family of six with an extra car to follow the tow and run to get lunch while he and his crew worked! He and his wife went the extra mile to be hospitable, communicate well, work quickly, and get us back on the road before closing. We felt cared for and not taken advantage of, even though it would have been easy to do with us not having other options. So thankful we reached out to Second Street and would highly recommend them to others!"
