"We are from Michigan and we brought down an 80 headed west for a wedding the insurance company got his truck my truck towed to his shop about 5 o’clock and he still fixed my truck and headed back to me by 6 o’clock that night outstanding"

Huge Relief
"My daughter lost power in her car on the way to Des Moines from Omaha, she managed to get to Wiota from I 80. I called Scott (who was out of state at the time) and he arranged for his son to tow the car back to his shop in Atlantic. Though they were quite busy, he diagnosed the problem and made the repair as well as servicing the transmission & fixing the hood cable in a reasonable time frame and at a reasonable price. Thanks to Scott and his crew!"

From Kearney NE… again!
"After Scott sorted me out when I got stuck on I80E, I hvae had no doubt in my mind as to the quality of work they provide and the care they give their customers. So when my car needed new tires and realignment, Scott was ever so gracious to work with me to find a day/time that worked for when I was driving that way again. Got meself new tires installed today, with alignment all done and my car drives like it's fresh off the factory floor! Just brillant! More than just the work though, is the time Scott took to explain to me what was going on, what I needed to do to make sure whatever maintenance I get done next, is done properly and what specifics I should be requestion. The advice he gave is certainly worth its weight in gold. Other than my mum's brother (who is a mechanic, just not in the US) Scott is the only other person I know to have bothered with the education aspect. A car is an investment, a tool, a road buddy. Has to be treated right but it certainly helps when someone bothers to explain what it is that needs to be done, and how, to make sure it is functions the way it should for the longest time possible. Just saying I 100% recommend Scott & Second Street Repair is almost an understatement. I wish he had clones dispersed around the country doing just as good a job as he is."

"On Friday evening, August 19th, going home to Minnesota from a day in Omaha at about 5:00, we began having trouble with our vehicle overheating and losing all power. We pulled over on I-80 to let the car cool and limped to exit 60 near Atlantic, IA. I googled roadside assistance and 2nd Street Repair was at the top of the list, so I called. They were very kind and courteous, sending a tow truck out with about 20 minutes. Jared was very professional, assuring us that our car could be fixed and we would hopefully be able to hit the road later that evening.We get to the shop to find out the repair will take a bit more that we thought. Scott, owner of the shop, jumps on the phone to call area hotels to help us find a place to stay; unfortunately everything was full. So Scott put aside his plans with family and friends to get these stranded motorist back on the road. He did everything to get our car operational and had us back on the road by 8:40pm.I can’t express enough gratitude towards both Jared and Scott for everything they did by going so far above and beyond.If you ever find yourself in need of mechanical services between exits 60-70 on I-80 or near Atlantic, IA, make 2nd Street Repair your first and only call! Great service from genuine hard-working folks!! "
