"On Friday evening, August 19th, going home to Minnesota from a day in Omaha at about 5:00, we began having trouble with our vehicle overheating and losing all power. We pulled over on I-80 to let the car cool and limped to exit 60 near Atlantic, IA. I googled roadside assistance and 2nd Street Repair was at the top of the list, so I called. They were very kind and courteous, sending a tow truck out with about 20 minutes. Jared was very professional, assuring us that our car could be fixed and we would hopefully be able to hit the road later that evening.
We get to the shop to find out the repair will take a bit more that we thought. Scott, owner of the shop, jumps on the phone to call area hotels to help us find a place to stay; unfortunately everything was full. So Scott put aside his plans with family and friends to get these stranded motorist back on the road. He did everything to get our car operational and had us back on the road by 8:40pm.
I can’t express enough gratitude towards both Jared and Scott for everything they did by going so far above and beyond.
If you ever find yourself in need of mechanical services between exits 60-70 on I-80 or near Atlantic, IA, make 2nd Street Repair your first and only call! Great service from genuine hard-working folks!! "

"Scott with Second Street Repair is the most honest trustworthy business person I have ever met. He assisted me with towing my vehicle from I-80 to repair shop in Omaha. I thought my transmission went out - but he diagnosed it for free for me and informed me it was probably a CV Joint or rod that was broken not the transmission - savings me thousands of dollars on repair. I would recommend Second Street Repair to everyone for outstanding quality and amazing customer service."

"Scott and Second Street Repair are top notch! They went above and beyond to help my wife and I when our engine stalled on I-80 on a Saturday evening. Scott reached us quickly on the highway and made sure to help us with accomodations as we were unfamiliar with the area. We were stuck for a day because the car was out of comission and they continued to provide support through the weekend until we were able to get on the road again. Our gratitude is endless! If you breakdown on I-80 anywhere near Second Street Repair, they should be your first call for help!"

"Scott and his son helped us with a blown tire on our trailer while we were stranded alongside the road. They realize the stress we were under and expeditiously replaced the tire and got us on our way. Great honest people!!"
